As a licensed/certified Speech Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in the areas of diagnosis and treatment of children with communication disorders, I know how critically important it is to be an effective communication partner in order to create positive experiences with one another. I am also the mother of a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) with decreased executive functioning that has caused him to put himself in some unsafe situations due to his inability to effectively communicate. Therefore, out of these personal and professional experiences, Kameileon was created.

KAMEILEON provides….

Kameileon provides personalized QR Codes that are affixed to wearable devices, (Kam-Let or Kam-Card). Kameileon allows parents/caregivers to create a communication portrait of their child(ren) or loved one that can be accessed by simply scanning the QR code. Upon scanning the QR code, a parent/caregiver may be contacted in the event of an emergency or a communication breakdown, which provides preferred communication styles/methods. Communication portraits are easily accessible by scanning the KamQR with the camera on any smartphone. Portraits contain necessary information provided by the parent/caregiver. This information may include, but is not limited to, parent/caregiver contact information, communication methods or preferences and/or pictures or documents.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How Does Kameileon Work?

Order your KAMLet:

1. Once your device is received, activate it by scanning your personal KamQR with the camera on your smart phone/device.
2. Enter your information to set up your account.
3. Build a portrait of your child’s communication style.
4. Upload pictures or documents (optional)
5. Enter contact information

If ordering more than one device, each device will have a different KamQR that can be linked to one (1) account.
